History of Bilancia
Establishment 2002Bilancia Horticulture Projects was founded by Jan Vrins and Arie Huisman. Both persons have a lot of experiences in horticultural education, Jan Vrins was chairman of the central management of the horticulture training center in the Zuidhollands Glasdistrict and Arie Huisman was a specialist / sector of vegetables, flowers and pot plant cultivation.
Bilancia means "balance". Every person and every organization needs to develop continuously in order to stay in balance with the ever faster changing environment.
2003Bilancia specializes in the Investors in People system and has assisted a large number of organizations in its implementation of this system. As a result, organizations became more effective in achieving their goals.
2004In addition to Investors in People, Bilancia also specializes in guiding the organization and carrying out cultivation in greenhouse horticulture projects around the world.
An investor puts a lot of money into a greenhouse horticulture project. In order to achieve a good ROI it is essential that a good production is made. That requires knowledge and skills from the people. Bilancia provides support for this.

2018Bilancia receives quite a few requests to set up training centers in various countries.
In order to make this possible and to organize this as effectively as possible, Bilancia started in 2018 with the development of "blended learning modules for greenhouse horticulture".
The first module is ready and concerns the subject 'Fertilization'. Other modules are now under development.
